A new "Go To" meal.

I have a confession.  My wife and I are avid "Housewives" fans on Bravo.  We set aside time each week to watch the HW of New York and New Jersey.  Among all the fighting and poor behavior put on by these adult women, they sneak in a certain amount of food that looks amazing.

One of the recipes that looked mouth watering was "Caroline Manzo's Sausage and Potato's" recipe.  Although I searched high and low on the internet for her exact recipe, I couldn't find it.  Then I realized by looking at it: how hard could it be?

Sweet Italian Sausage, Peppers (many colors), baby red skin potatoes, garlic cloves and onions come together to make our house smell amazing.  This recipe will be around for the long haul.

CAKE: GF style

Diagnosed with Celiac disease a few years back, I had to cut out Gluten from my diet.  It has left me in want of many a dessert.  I miss being able to stuff my face with chocolatey frosting goodness.  It has been a struggle.  A while back, while hosting Passover, I found this recipe in my search for "Gluten free, egg free desserts"...no small accomplishment, by the way.

I found this recipe for Chocolate Cake.  The main ingredient was shocking, but delicious.  Who knew black-eyed peas could taste so rich?

Christmas Cheesecake

It wasn't until recently that I tried Cheesecake.  I couldn't get over the fact that I thought it was a cake that tasted like cheese, as if it would be Swiss or Cheddar Jack.  Once I tried just a plain vanilla cheesecake, however, I was sold.

Then Christmas time hit.  I had a basic cheesecake recipe, and I wanted to make it festive and doctor it up with some Holiday flair.  Thus, after many attempts, I hit on my Peppermint Cheesecake, compelte with mixed green and red chocolate chips inside to give it that Holiday look.  This is a Christmas-at-the-North-Pole fantasy at it's best.
